Turn on grouping
- In Settings, open Appearance and turn on Group management.
- Create a group such as Retirement or Home deposit in the group manager. You can also add a new group from the Group field when adding an asset or transaction.
- Choose a group for each asset or purchase. Anything you leave unassigned appears in Ungrouped.
One security across several groups
Suppose you bought ten ETF units for a long-term goal and five for a home deposit. Assign each purchase to its own group. Group view shows ten units in one group and five in the other. Your total net worth includes the value of all fifteen units.
Change a purchase's group in Manage position. If you change the group for the whole holding, all its transactions move together. Property and synchronized wallet holdings are assigned as a whole.
Groups on Home and Diagram
On Home, tap the grouping icon at the bottom right of the total net worth panel. On Diagram, use the Asset type and Groups buttons. Each screen remembers which view you last used.
The pie chart gives groups different colors automatically, so you do not need to choose a color when creating one. Empty groups stay out of the Home list.
Reorder, rename or hide groups
In the group manager, long-press a group and drag it into place. Tap it to rename or delete it. When deleting a group, you can choose where its investments should go.
Turning Group management off hides the fields and group views but keeps your assignments. You can turn it back on later. Groups help you organize the app; they are not separate brokerage accounts or tax records.
