Choose the type and exact series

In Add, open Hungarian government bonds and choose the type and series. Available catalogs include FIXMÁP, BMÁP, PMÁP, MÁP+, DKJ, EMÁP, PEMÁP, Babakötvény, MÁK and ZÖLDMÁK.

Matching maturity years do not necessarily identify the same bond. Check the complete series name, including its letters and numbers. Euro-denominated EMÁP and PEMÁP positions use EUR nominal amounts.

Record nominal amount and purchase details

  1. Select the exact series held in your account.
  2. Enter its nominal amount, rather than the current market value displayed by the provider.
  3. Complete the purchase fields and choose a group if you use grouping.
  4. After saving, check the nominal amount, quoted percentage and currency.

How the app calculates the value

Prices come from allampapir.hu. For interest-bearing bonds, the app adds accrued interest to the net quoted price. DKJ is a discount bond, so no separate accrued interest is added.

For example, HUF 100,000 nominal at a 99% net price plus 2% accrued interest gives a displayed value of HUF 101,000. This is an example of the calculation, not a current offer or guaranteed redemption amount.

Currencies and interest payments

HUF, EUR and USD views show the same holding in different currencies. A euro bond's value in forints can therefore change with exchange rates too. Interest-payment notices work separately; always check your own account for the actual credit. The related guide explains these notices in more detail.
