What is an investment portfolio?
Your investment portfolio is simply the collection of investments you own. It might include bonds, stocks, ETFs and investment funds, even when you hold them with different providers. In Portfoliom, you can add cash, crypto and property too.
What goes into total net worth?
The total at the top of Home adds up the current values of the assets you have entered. You enter the quantities, and the app refreshes the available prices. Property uses your own estimate; cash uses the balance and interest settings you provide.
Anything you leave out is missing from the total. When you first set up the app, it helps to go through your accounts and investments so you include everything you want to track.
Add your first investments
- Open Add and choose an asset type. Find your security, or enter the details for cash or property.
- Enter the quantity and purchase details. The app uses these to work out your gain or loss.
- Return to Home, choose HUF, EUR or USD, and check the amounts.
- Record later purchases and sales in Manage position.
Daily change or overall result?
Daily change shows the latest daily price movement. The overall result compares the current value with the purchase cost you entered. A stock can fall today while still being worth more than you paid for it.
Mark frequently checked assets as favorites to keep them easy to reach. When someone else can see your screen, use the eye icon to hide the amounts.
Your accounts stay with your providers
Portfoliom helps you keep track of investments, but it does not place trades or ask for your bank or broker login. Check actual balances, fees and payments with your provider. Public crypto wallet balances can be read through a separate wallet-import feature.
